A recycling Robot
It had to come some time.
Sorts for you, weighs, compacts, and sends your poundage to a web site. Wow.

Book trading/review sites taking off
Lots of people are figuring out that you can recycle books. You can get even that new release for free on a trading site. And books on your shelf are a potential asset in economic hard times. It looks from the Compete.com data that Goodreads.com, PaperbackSwap.com and Librarything.com are winning and growing fast while Shelfari, Bookins, Bookmooch, Bookcrossing, Allconsuming.net (early leader) and others languish. Books are also a growing category for some of the generalized sites like SwapTree which seems to be kicking SwapThing’s ass.
I need to integrate some into Kashless. Which are your favorites?

Couldn't put it down (rated 4 stars)
I bought my 8 year old daughter “Twighlight”. She started it. I wanted to read it for appropriateness but she had it, so I grabbed “new Moon”. My daughter gave me a hard time for reading out of order, but I just ignored her and plowed on. Very engaging series. I was worried about gore, but it turned out to be very low. Might be a bit racy for 8 years old, but not as bad as even some Disney movies I have seen. Read it in three days. Very engaging and good for all ages. I rate 4 of 5 stars.

A story about "The Zebra-Striped Hearse (Vintage Crime/Black Lizard)"
Ross MacDonald is ALMOST as good as Raymond Chandler. I still like Raymond better. But Zebra-Striped Hearse is up there in hard boiled detective stuff. Very entertaining. Good summer read. I rate 4 of 5 stars.

A story about "No Heroics, Please: Uncollected Writings"
i have read everything by Raymond Carver. Now I just finished his “uncollected writings”. I guess that is it. Wish he were still with us to produce more great writing.

Truly disturbing investigative video of gun markets in Pakistan
“these people live in caves, have no tongues and make guns with their bare hands. You can’t beat these people.”

Another Google chrome error
I was downloading a new HP printer driver from here and Chrome didn’t do the download redirect to the FTP server correctly. I got a “file not found” error. IE opened up the download and install dialogue just fine. Chrome not ready still.

I gave away stuff on FreeCycle
and the weight came off my shoulders of this stuff cluttering around my house. It is very liberating to clean out the closets and garages and know the stuff is being REUSED by someone instead of heading to the dump. Great goal!!

How to eat every fruit and vegetable that I buy - BEFORE it goes bad
"Rotten fruit is ugly. Fresh fruit is pretty. Do the math."
How I did it: Put the fruit by the coffee maker. Every morning check for mold. Eat weither hungry or not. Sip coffee, bite fruit. Sip coffee, Bite fruit. Repeat. Very zen experience. I would recommend it to everyone
Lessons & tips: Buy less fresh fruit
It took me 15 days.
It made me pono ![]()
