As a fairly new visitor, I was a bit puzzled by your political postings, as I kept waiting for the punch line. Then I went back a little bit in your non-tech postings and, apparently, you're actually serious.
Frankly, I'n a little taken aback. Not because of your political leanings, but if you're going to put forth your views as a conservative, it's far more advisable to sidestep political hacks like Fred Thompson (who's work in the Senate matched his brief lethargic run at the Republican nomination) and using language like the "Treason Times" towards the NYT, which is also home to David Brooks and William Kristol, it's worth noting).
There's some good stuff here, like your involvement with Kiva, an organization I, on the polar opposite end of the political divide, wholly support. But these Malkin-esque political tirades are ill-suited to doing anything but turning new readers off as they're ridiculously beneath the bar for any level of political discourse or insight.

Evidence supporting DevGen's point: the ads-by-Google algorithm delivered to the top of this page a portrait of Sarah Palin on a Newsmax banner. Based on the content, this is a dittohead blog.
