10 minute review of online task managers

Looking for a better task manager than LookOUt. Tried a couple with Jott integration. All sucky.

1. KeepUp. If you only do tasks that everyone else on the plante does like "anniversary" and "daylight savings time" and "pick up the kids". then this one is for you. I actually have my own life and my own tasks. Making a "custom task" is a pain. No outlook upload. Dead.

2. 43actions. Only for the hard core geek. Very minimal (good). too minimal (bad). Feels like the old line editor "vi". No instructions. No outlook upload. You gotta have read the GTD book and love that system. Next...

3. Sandy. Cute graphics. appeal to the undersexed geek in me. No outlook upload. Simple command understanding like "remind", but separate calendar. You can subscribe to the Sandy calendar in outlook on the web (cool), but unfortunately that is not my main calendar. bad. Next.

They all suck. So it seems that Jott has integated with a bunch of sucky task managers. Hummmmm....

I am using one called GooToDo (from the folks at Creative Good and the author of Bit Literacy. It has a very simple UI and is remarkably helpful. For full details, go to www.gootodo.com Currently this product is stand alone, but it does some clever bi-directional integration via e-mail (any mail client). I recommend trying it out. It worls much better that MSFT Tasks!!!

Mr. Tobias,

There is a story out that a lawsuit was filed against you and several people, individually as well as Imperium Renewables and Martin Tobias, in Washington State, for many millions, for not paying Kenneth Orr when you fired him as well as for not paying him as contracted during his employment.

We understand from Imperium sources that Mr. Orr made many millions for Imperium and we will look for facts in your industry and investors and brokers but sounds interesting. Sounds like you just got rid of Mr. Orr instead of paying him?

Any comments?
