Interesting links...I have long thought that there are market opportunites in an area like monitoring, managing, and logging energy systems.

An example might be a home/business subscription service (none to my knowledge right now) that could monitor your internal wiring for breaks in the electrical connection or anything electrical that might result in a fire. Kind of like a Brinks alert system for home safety.
